Bourbon Peach Wings: The Best Game Day Wing Recipe

August 25, 2026 By cmmsupport No Comments

Let’s get one thing out of the way before we even talk about this recipe: I’m Team Flats.
Drums have their place, I suppose. Just preferably on somebody else’s plate! No matter what time of year it is, no one can resist a good chicken wing recipe. Here’s my Bourbon Peach Wing recipe!

Why You’ll Love These Bourbon Peach Wings

The peach brings a fruity sweetness to the sauce, while the bourbon adds a deeper, richer flavor that keeps it from tasting overly sweet. Once that sauce hits those crispy wings, you get that perfect combination of sweet, savory, sticky and crispy in every bite.

They also feel just a little more special than your everyday wings without requiring you to do anything complicated.

The Secret: Bourbon Peach Sauce

Kinders Black Cherry Chipotle BBQ sauce and Bourbon Peach BBQ sauce

The star of this recipe is definitely the bourbon peach sauce.

Peach works beautifully with chicken because you get natural sweetness without losing those savory flavors we want from a good wing. Bourbon adds warmth and depth, and once everything cooks together, you’re left with a glossy sauce that clings to every little crispy corner of the chicken.

How to Get Crispy Wings that Hold On to the Sauce

Nobody wants a soggy wing.

For the best results, you want to get your wings nice and crispy before adding the bourbon peach sauce. Whether you bake, air-fry or fry your wings, give them enough time to develop a crisp exterior.

Then toss them in the sauce right before serving.

This gives you the best of both worlds: crispy chicken underneath and that sticky bourbon peach glaze coating the outside.

If you’re making these for a party, you can also prepare your sauce ahead of time and warm it just before tossing it with the wings.

Bourbon Peach Wings

Equipment needed: Electric Grill or Air Fryer, food processor or blender

For the Chicken:

  • Approximately 4 lbs of party wings
  • 1 tsp All Purpose seasoning
  • 1 Chicken Bouillon Cube
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 tsp Paprika

Chipotle Marinade

  • 1 Chipotle in Adobo Sauce
  • 1/2 Red Onion
  • 2 Scallion
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 1/2 of 1 lime (juice squeezed)
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 tsp Low Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 2 tsp Tomato Paste
  • 6 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 tsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 small bushel of fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary

*Combine in a food processor or blender and place into an air tight container or mason jar. Store up to 30 days.

Directions

Rinse chicken wings and pat dry. Remove excess debris and pluck feathers. Add all purpose seasoning, chicken bouillon cube (this needs to be finely chopped or crumbled), onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika to the chicken. Add 2 small spoons of chipotle marinade. Combine well and ensure all pieces are adequately covered with seasoning.

If using an electric grill, (I used my Ninja Woodfire Outdoor Grill), set it to “low” and grill on each side for 10 minutes. If using an air fryer, air fry on 400 degrees for 20 minutes, flipping half way through.

Toss the wings in Kinder’s Bourbon Peach BBQ sauce, serve, and enjoy! Kinder’s can be found at Walmart or on Amazon using my affiliate link here: https://amzn.to/4xnxvjt
